Solar install and sub panel, anything to watch out for?
I’m getting solar installed and they’re putting a critical load subpanel and doing a splice from the main panel. They have a master electrician who is supposed to be certifying the work, but I’m worried they’re going to have a non-journeyman hired hand or someone do the actual install.
This company has a very good reputation and isn’t a national solar scam company. That said I still want to protect my house and my family.
What’s the best way to check the work? Should I hire another electrician to come out and look at it? Is there anything basic that I can check?
