Dual residency

Hey vet bros

So long story short, I’m trying to find a definitive answer for this situation I’m in, I go to Idaho for work during the summers but go back to California for school during the spring/fall/winter seasons using my GI Bill for that nice 3.5k+ and stay with my parents during the seasons, but I’m intending to make my primary place of residency Idaho with my wife in the very near future. Would I need to still pay out of state fees if I have a technical place that I’m intending to come back and forth from if I’m driving cross states for hybrid classes?

Also sorry if this isn’t super clear or doesn’t make the most sense, brains a little fried from work
