Ground 2 Question about O.R.C's

Okay so, I've finished the current Story Mode and... I've stopped getting ORC Waves all together and all the ORC Bugs are just... gone? Besides only a few of them at the Statue, which are only three Spiderlings and one Orb Weaver JR.

I wanna know if this is normal? That they just... vanish? Cause it seems kinda... counter productive, especially when it locks you out of some crafting recipes if you end up running out of the material like Flash Flutterbombs for example. Guess it also locks you out of getting Gold Cards.

So far the only guess I can take at the moment is I did switch to Mild mode and haven't swapped back, so when I get back on I'll swap to Normal mode to see if that changes anything. At the moment however, I want to know if anybody else ran into this as well? Is this just normal or is it a bug?
