Alienware 18 Area 51 300hz Grey Screen Flickering

Been having this weird grey screen flickering issue when setting display to 300hz (MUX switch is enabled). The screen will have grey bar line flickering towards the bottom of the screen when in game, or when I alt + tab between programs. Even though, I set a custom refresh rate (240hz and 200hz) in Nvidia control panel, it still grey screen flickers when I alt + tab or just in game. When it games it happens regardless on Fullscreen or borderless windowed (flicker doesn't stop till I exit the game)

Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue? Due to recent crappy Nvidia drivers, or I just got unlucky with a bad panel…

 Specs: i9-275hx, 64gb ddr5, rtx 5090 (alienware 18 area 51)

Steps I’ve tried to fix this flickering

DDU using current Nvidia drivers and with the ones on Dell’s Site

Nvidia Control Panel -> Manage 3D Settings -> Power Management Mode -> Prefer Maximum Performance

Limiting FPS to 290-295 in Nvidia control panel

Tried Disabling HAGS in chrome and windows 11

Control Panel and set PCIE Link State Power Management to off on both battery and plugged in

Disable G-sync, since heard it fixed for some 50 series users mainly desktop…

Fresh reinstall of windows with only command center and no support assists
