"Oh, Hi" showing cancelled and no notice until we walked into the showing?
Just sharing this as I'm curious if this is a common experience right now.
My partner and I reserved tickets to see "Oh, Hi!" last week for July 30 at our local AMC. When we arrived, the usher scanned our tickets and told us which theater it's in like usual. But when we walked into the theater itself, the new "Jurassic World" was playing instead. Confused, we walked back to the usher to double check the theater number and told her what happened. She was also confused and called her manager over. He explained that there was a "projector issue" and the movie was switched for that reason? He gave us free movie passes as a consolation and we were on our way. We weren't really upset about missing this movie but really just confused why this happened. Has this happened to you at your local AMC, specifically for this movie? Also, I just checked and there's no upcoming showings for the film, so curious if something happened with it!
