Is there an intermediate object between bits and qubits?

as I understand it, a bit is one discrete value that is either one or zero, while a qubit is two continuous values between one and zero the can be put in a superposition/entangled. are there objects that have 1 discrete value that can be put in superposition/ entangled, or that have two continuous values but cannot be put in superposition/entangled? are such object important enough to have a name?
