Checked Baggage to Tampa Arriving Early

I’m currently flying with United on a connecting flight with layovers, YYZ (Toronto) TO IAD (Washington), IAD (Washington) to TPA (Tampa). The United app says the bag is arriving early and I’m not familiar with how this works. Does this mean my checked luggage boarded another flight? Would love some insight thanks.
