Suddenly I feel irritated and itchy

In case it’s relevant I’m 36. I don’t think I have anything going on down there. No weird smell or discharge that’s unusual but I’ve been so itchy down there for the last 2 weeks. I always shaved and for the first time in my life I was being lazy and didn’t shave for a few weeks. I thought maybe having hair down there was bothering me so I finally shaved over the weekend but I’m still so itchy. My underwear has been bothering me also. I always feel like I need to adjust and the only time I get a little relief is when I use a little bit of lube down there and/or don’t wear underwear but I don’t like going commando anymore. Any idea what could be going on? It’s itchy like at the vaginal opening and labia the most. ITS DRIVING ME INSANE!
