Rep. McGuire in Israel on AIPAC's dime
Since I don't see this reported in local media, John McGuire is one of a couple dozen Republican Congresspeople in Israel this week to meet with Netanyahu and other officials, and to express their support for Israel—"one of our most important allies, if not our most important ally", as McGuire says in the video. Trip paid for, evidently, by AIEF, the American Israel Education Foundation, AIPAC's 501(c)(3) aka tax-deductible charitable affiliate under the rubric of an educational program. Per the video, he learned about the threats Israel faces from Iran, Yemen, and Gaza. He learned about how "sharing technology and techniques ... can keep Americans also safe at home and abroad". So glad to see that he's enrolling in continuing education programs and not just resting on his voluminous laurels.
