Any edible recommendations?

I'm looking to take a break from smoking and swap to edibles for a bit, the only edibles I've ever tried were SHM rosin delights and they were decent but pretty expensive. I'm looking for a decent priced option and have come down to a few options, but I wanted to hear what people thought and if they were any good.

My first thought after looking around the subreddit was to order 5g of distillate from CC and melt some with butter or something and just eat it, from what I've seen people said that it would work and seems like the cheapest option but I don't fully understand how it would work with there being no terps or anything how would the high be?

My second option was CHF rosin gummies 35$ for 250mg which doesn't seem like a horrible price but I was wondering if anyone can give me insight on the difference between distillate/rosin edibles and if the difference is worth it. Along with any other brands you guys may recommend if you think CHF isn't a good option for the price.
