Past few months, I’m suddenly receiving requests to add from different Asian males. I’m an Asian female. We have no connections. I have never interacted with these people. What is going on? Is this some weird scam or a glitch or what?

I’m not prolific on LinkedIn but I have been considering leaving my company. I’ve literally done nothing more on LinkedIn in the last few months than browse job postings just to see what’s being advertised and the salary range if it’s included. Why am I only seeing an influx of requests from males of similar ethnicity? I feel like it’s a scam but can anyone shed some light?
