found this seller on the qreps subreddit and decided to give them a go. haven’t ordered any ccp pieces before but they clearly seemed to know what they were doing judging by their work, so i pulled the trigger. gotta say i’m incredibly impressed by the craftsmanship of this item and can say that it was worth every penny.

rangg was super quick to communicate and wanted to ensure the whole process went smoothly with complete transparency. they kept me up to date with the process of making the vest, as well as the choice of what leather and hardware I wanted to use. this vest is made from cattle leather and uses iron hardware that has a rusted patina. the vest is entirely handmade, which they’ve done an incredible job at.

as far as accuracy to the ccp model of the vest bag i can’t speak too much as i haven’t seen one in person, but judging by photos it’s pretty on par. it’s unbranded, but i wasn’t buying this to try and emulate ccp as their product is based off vintage vest bags that were produced for trades in the 20th century, so the product isn’t exclusively ccp’s anyway.

ultimately i’m really happy with the product. it makes for a great layering piece over the top of outerwear and has immediately become part of my regular rotation.

overall: 10/10
