Job advice needed

Seeking Advice

Im currently an OR nurse making about 81k (as my base). I was offered an OR educator role but would have to take a pay cut (7-12%) less. And it would be salary, so no opportunities for bonuses/ overtime.

I’m conflicted because becoming an educator would align with my future career goals (clinical specialist for medical device or pharmaceutical company) and I’d be considered part of the leadership team.

It’s a “step up” but pay doesn’t reflect that.

Should I take it? Not saying that I couldn’t land a clinical specialist role in my current job but it may be harder.

Thanks for any advice!!
