AIO I finally had him, I want him again! Or not? Any advice would be great.

So there’s this guy, known him since HS I 31f him 29m have recently crossed paths regularly while at my job, a bar. Flirting had went on for 7 months recently I made it a point to go home with him we hooked up & he tells me that his ex is back in town and he thinks it’s a sign to try again but says that she’s pushing him too fast to get his life together as is. I’m not sure if I should leave it or think there’s another chance to even just hang out? I’ve wanted him for awhile. We talked about communication which he has since worked on in more parts than one. His cousin wants to hook up with me again. Is that the worst idea? He has no attachments or distractions. Thing is I’m so into him… I think I messed up. Help 😩 I’m not looking for a relationship.
