Anyone switch from working for a non-profit to corporate?

I currently work for a non-profit agency doing professional development with staff by creating and facilitating trainings. It was my first job out of college ( I went for teaching-did not want to teach in a school). My job is pretty easy, and while the pay is not great by any means, my benefits and vacation days are amazing. But, the low salary is just not cutting it anymore.

I'm starting graduate school soon in I/O Psych, and hoping to pivot to a corporate position within a couple years. Anyone have any experience jumping from one world to the other? How did you use your job experience in a non-profit in your interviews? Did you prefer one over the other? I'm based in NYC.
