Is it a lost cause or is there something I can do

I have 2 friends that are pretty stubborn about not wanting to start one piece because of the usual excuses, “it’s too long” “I watched a few episodes and it was bad” I know that if they watched it they would love it like I do (at least I trust there taste) but I can’t get them to start it. I tried asking them to just watch 37 episodes and if they don’t like it then don’t watch anymore. I can’t really think of any other way of convincing them. They both are hardcore Naruto fans (that could be a factor) and AoT fans and other mainstream anime. One of them asked what’s an individual episode they could watch to get into the show but I didn’t tell them anything bc that seemed dumb. Now thinking abt it I feel like I could’ve told him episode 1015 just bc of how amazing and how much I think that episode represents one piece as a whole. Any help I can get is appreciated I just want my friends to enjoy this amazing story.
