The Kiss/Affair was kind of badly executed (at least after the fact) in my opinion, as it seems like **it’s purely used as a means to get Cordelia out of the orbit of the Scoobies**. There’s literally no real ramifications when it comes to the other corresponding relationships between the four of them.

But I think it Would’ve been interesting if here was some intermediate MOTW episode where **there was some magical personality convergence, like a Dr. Jekyll / Mr Hyde-but at the same time-thing**

In this sense it’s Called, “The Other Woman”, though it features other characters dealing with the effects of this happening and proceeding to fix it.

*It’s not a Body Swap, it’s a personality altering of sorts* **they’re a version of themselves that’s themselves but also influenced by discernible traits of the other person**

Cordelia comes to Willow insulting her “into an apology” but it turns into an emotional complaint. Willow doesn’t want to speak to her, but when addressed, Willow **tells her off ruthlessly**, much to the shock of the whole school, about Cordelia’s personality and her being a bully for most of her life. *No one’s spoken to Cordy that way and has lived socially to tell the tale*

Willow says that she should have to apologize to only *Oz* (who is watching) and -

• • •

“*not some bimbo dressed in tacky red leather in 90 degree weather! Hello? *Dim* lights in a *big empty room* {*pointing to her head*) still means you’re getting dressed in the dark!”

**Cordelia**: oh yeah? We’ll—-you’re—y-you’re too modest to speak! And you—you have flyaways! **and you’re supposed to a-apologize for giving someone else’s boyfriend SMOOCHIES!!”

The crowd: “Smoochies?”

**Cordelia**: (mouthing to herself in disgust) “Smoochies?”

**Willow**: “what’s a kiss? You can *maybe* kiss any other guy here that you want to! Or, better yet, if they don’t give you any play, you can kiss *mine* as I leave. ….*Good day*.”

*Cordy is aghast, and angry, and conflicted and feeling somewhat powerless.*

But, then, of course once the happening is reversed, *Willow would still come around later in the day and apologize to Cordy solely *because of Cordy being injured because of the situation*,

Cordelia would not be receptive at first but she would At least give her a genuine but slightly backhanded compliment about *how brave she was for standing up to her, as a sign of respect* and **question why she decided to dress up for the hottest day of the year, so far** Cordelia realizes some things but doesn’t say them out loud.

Oz wouldn’t take to Willow, because of the popularity and unwanted attention she begins to get from Guys after her now-famed school tirade.’ Cordelia goes the way of her popularity dimming and isolating herself further socially as a result. **“Smoochies” and a variant of it becomes “cool, but fleeting” colloquialism at school because of the drama**.

An “Apology” from Willow to Cordy (following The Kiss) should’ve been in a fun “MOTW” episode!
