[UPD] How many classes of the same course can I waitlist?

I'm graduating this coming semester and I'm currently underloaded at 12 units. Need ko na lang 3 units to reach the minimum load and to complete my curriculum. Currently waitlisted in a GE class that I'm required to take. Just curious is there a number of classes of the same course i can waitlist during this period? (e.g., 5 classes of Philo 1)

Does waitlisting multiple sections improve ba my chances or could it actually be counterproductive? My adviser suggested that enrolling in several waitlists might be considered “spamming,” which could potentially reduce my likelihood of securing a slot. They told me that the offering units can see my waitlist daw and if they see I have many classes waitlisted baka di raw ako iprioritize and better daw to just prioritize my top 1-2 classes.

I’m curious to hear from others who have been in a similar situation. What was your experience with waitlisting multiple sections of the same course? Nakakuha ba kayo ng slot or hindi?
