Will my online math course be accepted in UChicago?

I just paid for the MSAR and saw that online courses arent accepted in every university. For instance, Math is a requirement for UChicago, but it says that “Online courses are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.” UChicago is one of my top schools and I was wondering if anyone else got in with online credits?

I took some math courses online because I ended up learning better when I teach myself the concepts so I didn’t see the point of going in person. Do you think I should do one harder level math class in person or should I just leave it be? This isn’t just limitted to UChicago, this goes for every other school I’m applying to who might look at online courses differently.
