Walnut Grove School

I always wondered why Walnut Grove never built a building that was just for school? Of course at its founding there probably weren’t enough children to prompt building a larger school, but as the population grew, they could’ve built another building. It didn’t have to be crazy big as other schools in larger cities, but larger than the church. Maybe they could’ve hired another teacher, one to teach younger students, and another to teach the older ones. The church was a hospital, school, and courthouse. Hell, the ice house acted as a jail.
