Am I overreacting?

Someone I’ve known since I was 4 (now 30) asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding next year but with the caveat that I must wear a dress for the ceremony. Several times well before she even met her fiance, I’ve told her if she ever gets married I do not want to wear a dress. I’ve been wearing pants and a tie since we did middle school concerts together, so she very much knows how uncomfortable dresses make me. And it’s weird cuz I can wear a dress, I just feel like I am not myself in one. She called me the other day asking to be her bridesmaid only if I obliged to her rules and I basically said I’m not being true to myself if I do that, and you should know that because she knows I’m a pants wearer. She said almost word for word “well it’s my wedding and you’re supposed to do what the bride wants.” I wore a dress for my cousins wedding as a bridesmaid a couple years back that this friend also attended but I even told her that that would be my last time ever wearing one (long story short - my cousins a bit crazy and wouldn’t talk to me for years if I didn’t oblige). And she’s throwing that in my face too - “oh you wore one for your cousins wedding why can’t you for mine?” Am I overreacting here? I feel like I’m going crazy. I feel she’s the one being a very disrespectful person by trying to force me to be something I’m not all for “aesthetic.” Also we’ve grown apart much as adults too, as she voted for trump last election and I cut ties with most people I know who did that. Sorry for the ramble.
