Picking up the game again after years of not playing... advice for a nice starting build so I can relearn the game?

Basically I want to relearn as I go, but I find picking civics, origin etc is a bit hectic! I've had a terrible start on cadet lmao with a spiritualist empire because I'm absolutely garbage at resource management as there is a lot going on and I didn't expand fast enough because my expansion if the seeding one with plants as I thought that was cool??

Idk basically if there's a good start, civics and traits options I can pair together that will just give me a nice boost/isn't super complicated to synergise properly without being I guess super broken? Basically just want to ease myself back into the game and not feel constantly stressed because I'm not a master strategist lol

Would prefer not to be super aggressive playstyle until I've figured some stuff out.

I have like almost all the DLC before and including Federations came out but nothing after. Haven't played since then.
