Car stolen on 7th ave at Windsor pl… beware

Not expecting much to happen by posting here, more of a warning than anything. Happened around 4:30am probably. Nearly brand new, nice secure car (black Lexus sedan). They broke the glass and got it out quickly somehow, we didn’t hear anything. Native tracking device stopped at 6:44am when it was in the Bronx (Parkchester area). If anyone has any info, would be super appreciated. Second warning - when NYPD initially showed up to get the report, they (gleefully) told us they wouldn’t be attempting to recover the car unless we had eyes on it in the tracked location. We went there very reluctantly after expressing how ridiculous it was to expect unarmed civilians to take part in this situation, where it was nowhere to be found, got back to PS to finalize the report and the cops that showed up then were horrified that we were told to go there and that they were egregiously misinterpreting a different protocol. Should’ve had them call their supervisor before participating in that circus but unfortunately they had that D-K level confidence that fooled us.
