Bethany’s room

Something I’ve been thinking about and I haven’t seen yet… due to where Bethany’s room was, did either of them not have to pee,brush their teeth ,eat something or drink something in those 6 hours?

The house is confusing but I don’t think the first level had a bathroom. Am I wrong?
