Symptoms other than a cold sore?

For context: About 2 weeks ago, I started having some GI issues (bloating, nausea, diarrhea, fatigue) and just generally unwell. I waited it out because some days were inconsistent. After about 2 weeks of these symptoms I decided to get some blood work done because I was worried about dehydration and what not. My doctor also took a stool sample and so far the results show no signs of abnormal, other than a slight increase in WBC, and fatigue still lingering. The day after my blood works, I notice a cold sore. I have had cold sores in the past, my last one was probably about 3 years ago. HSV 1 confirmed about 10 years ago. I was not completely educated on symptoms other than a cold sore. TLDR; could my GI issues (bloating, nausea, diarrhea, fatigue)/ Malaise be related to my recent HSV 1 outbreak?
