Anyone have a strangulated OMENTUM?

Basically the dr said theres no bowel but my fat is being strangulated in my hernia, they put surgery off til tomorrow but I’m staying in the hospital over night so they can keep an eye on me. Also any of your experiences with surgery and the recovery are welcome, I am 300 lbs and have to come home to 4 kids. 2 are older so they’ll be okay but I also have a newborn and 1 year old. I’ll have my husband and mother in law the first couple days. Im just very nervous about surgery and being put under.
