Installed new SSD & now I'm scared af to turn on PC(pls help)
So it's been a week, I got my corrupt ssd replaced & got a new one and from one week My pc hasn't had access to any sort of power and i installed new ssd I'm mainly freaked out abt the static issue here Bec it didn't go so well first of all i touched the motherboard parts sometimes without discharging my hands for first 5 mins then I didn't let that mistake occur by touching my hands(for 5-10sec) to back of IO shield same w Screw, i have a screw lock system to lock the ssd in place w no magnetic screwdriver so it contacted my body alot of times,i dropped it on motherboard multiple times (one time i had to find it) but somehow i "neutralized" the charge by touching it to back of Io shield (gpt told me) hold ssd w other part of my hands like palms(so idk if different part of hands have charges or it just goes away entirely from the body w IO shield) & yeah finally I had stick screw tip to paper tape w screw driver so i can set it in place btw i installed it while i was barefoot on floor
