This is a Hexgears Immersion A5 keyboard. Sorry about the picture quality; I don't have a good camera. I wanted to show the front and back of the keyboard though, as I couldn't find a single video of this keyboard when I was researching which one to get. There was a "review" on Forbes that seemed more like an ad to feature the product.

It's my first mechanical keyboard, and I can't really comment too much on how it feels and compares with other keyboards. I knew going into it that I wanted a full sized 100% keyboard (including the context menu key), as actually use pretty much all of the keys except for maybe Scroll Lock and Insert. I unapologetically love having a numpad! I also wanted to make it silent if possible, and have it hot swappable. I also wanted it to be backlit (preferably RGB so that I can change the colour sometimes). I also want to mainly use it with a cable, as I just prefer extremely high reliability after giving up on wireless in the late 2000s. I also wanted some sort of visual indicator of the num lock and caps lock status that I could see directly from the keyboard itself. A metal finish was preferred but not completely necessary.

All of those requirements made it nearly impossible to find a match. The closest thing was something in the KeyChron K10 series, but there were stock issues, and then I saw a fairly recent post about a ton of quality issues with them lately. I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a keyboard only to have it start failing 6 months later, so that was out.

That was when I came across the Hexgears Immersion A5 keyboard, which met all of the requirements I had set, and was wildly affordable as well! It was only $58.55 USD with free shipping as well. Some thing that I didn't care about, but ended up being nice to have, is the ability to use it wirelessly as well, by both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz. My cable will cable-managed and if I want to borrow the keyboard for another device, I can just unplug it and use wireless. I ordered some Kailh Deep Sea Silent Mini Low Profile Switches, which I don't have yet. The version I got was Linear switches, so it is fairly quiet, but I really want silent switches.

The 2.4GHz wireless dongle is magnetically attached to the back of the keyboard, and there is a switch on the right hand side when you're looking at it from the back side. That switch need to be turned to on if you are using wireless or bluetooth, but can be left off if you are connected using a cable.

Hope this helps someone else looking for a full sized mechanical keyboard. The value is incredible (at least for the price I got it for). It's practically just the cost of the switches (104 keys). It also came with a really nice quality USB A to C cable (that unfortunately is too short for me) and what seems like a decent switch puller and a keycap puller.
