I think there are different types of pvcs, perfusing and non

NSFW

Hello all I've read this sub quite a bit after getting constant PVC's very suddenly after a fainting episode and some type of health issue that is yet to be determined.

What sounded crazy to me is that some people say their pvc burden on a monitor is 10000 a day or so. When i read this i thought theres no way, id be dead.

I talked to a doctor and he explained bigeminy and trigeminy. I had read about them previously and i thought that was odd because the doctor said in the ER they would send people home for cardiac workup if they are in bigeminy which sounds crazy but is actually common practice.

Now in relation to my PVC's i thought this was impossible because every one of them is brutal and triggers an innate fear and I've actually had NSVT while in the hospital and the cardiologist couldn't figure out why because my stress echo was normal. During my NSVT i was extremely symptomatic despite it being only 10 beats

NOW ive realized that whenever i have a PVC on a hospital monitor plethogram or at home on a pulse Oximeter my pulse stops and oxygen pleth wave drops.

This means my PVC's DO NOT PERFUSE meaning that my heart is not supplying my body with oxygenated blood whenever i have a PVC. My burden is 1% but they are SEVERE .

This leads me to believe that other people with high burden PVC's are perfusing appropriately and only feeling discomfort. Other people may not be and this is the critical difference. I asked a doctor today and he was shook by the idea that the PVC's don't perfuse and he admitted he never had thought about that and that technically they are supposed to and thats why they are benign.

Has anyone else checked their oxygen pleth wave during PVC's to establish whether their heart is supplying blood to their extremities during their PVC's? I feel there are two sets of people with pvcs one who perfuse and some who do not, the difference is critical.

Tl;dr some peoplea pvcs perfuse the body with oxygenated blood, other peoples do not. The people with normal perfusion are fine and benign and uncomfortable. The people with non perfusing pvcs are more critical and higher risk
