Godsword shard dupe protection

Is there any real downside? Mains like clogging and irons like godswords. Kinda tilting to have 10 of 1 and zero of another. Moons, TOA (gems), Sire (bludgeon), Araxxor (nox hally) all seem to have implemented it well. Would love to see this added for shards in GWD. That is all :)
