Can I take a pregnancy test at night 4 weeks after sex?

I had unprotected sex every day from June 25-July 1. Had weird spotting throughout the month of July and have been feeling sick. Genuinely not sure if the spotting could have been my period, so want to take a test for peace of mine. My period has been irregular the last few months anyway. I’ve been drinking water all day at it is 9pm here. Since the sex was that long ago, can I take it tonight? Or should I wait until tomorrow? I have two tests, one digital and one pink line.
