Pyometra in dogs

Hi guys, my dog has an infection in her uterus and was taken to the vet today to have surgery tomorrow. I'm very scared and I've cried a lot. I wanted to ask for advice and tips about this surgery, how it works and so on. I also wanted to ask for prayers for her, I love her very much and I'm scared of losing her.
