Boyfriend unfollowing a girl he used to talk to AIO?

Long story short my boyfriend has been talking to this girl before we got together. They talked for a couple of months. We started dating everything is good but he doesn’t unfollow her on tik tok or instagram. The other day I saw him scrolling on tik tok and liking one of her videos, so I just politely asked why he is still following her and liking her posts. I simply asked him if he would unfollow her because it made me feel a bit upset, he hesitated and told me he feels bad if he unfollows her because they both followed each other for a while. He eventually unfollowed her but with some hesitation. This has really bothered me since. Also one day when we were fighting he followed her back to make me upset which I thought was pretty petty to add on top of this. Do you guys think I’m in the wrong for being upset over this? Or am I just overthinking things.
