Career transition! Finance -> comm ?

Ohayo! Anyone have experience transitioning out of a finance role? I’ve been an fp&a analyst for 5 years and have worked in finance 8 years. I want to do less data centric work, more presentations, action items, strategy, etc. Looking for an idea/plan to get the transition started. Career paths being considered: communications, public relations, event management and marketing, grant writing, project management so if you have transitioned to any of these , your opinion is especially welcomed.

Thank you in advance :)
