[F4A] The Corpo-Slut (A cyberpunk 2077 roleplay)
Rhea’s blinked her eyes open slowly, waking from her slumber groggily as her eyes found her alarm. 6:52 A.M.
Her cyberware adjusted to the harsh white glow pouring in from the penthouse window the kind of glow that meant the sun was up. The sun wasn’t supposed to be up yet. What was that about? For one brief, stupid moment, she lay there, staring at the ceiling, her mind refusing to make the connection.
Then it hit and her breath caught in her chest like she’d been shot. “Oh FUCK-“
She bolted upright, tangled in sheets, elbow knocking over a half-empty glass of sleep stabilizers that crashed to the floor and shattered. The HUD in her vision pulsed red warnings.
MEETING: 7:30 A.M. LOCATION: MILITECH HQ – LEVEL 90 TRAVEL TIME: 38 MINUTES – TRAFFIC: DENSE
“Fuck, Fuck, Fuck!” She was already moving — bare feet slapping against cold tile as she staggered to her bathroom. Her reflection slammed into view as she looked in the mirror whilst readying herself. Her hair a crimson mess as she hastily tried to make herself seem presentable in the little time she had. She looked like she’d been dragged through the entire week. Felt like it, too.
‘Why didn’t the alarm go off? Why didn’t my backup neural ping? Is the implant failing again? Did something happen? Did someone else have something to do with it?’
Rhea didn’t have time to spiral like this, forcing her thoughts onto what she needed to do now. Things had been hectic at work lately. She couldn’t afford to fuck up, and being late when things were this crucial? Oh yeah. Tremendous fuck up.
She splashed cold water over her face, scrubbing last night’s stress-sweat off. “Okay, okay, shower then clothes. Suit, jacket, something that doesn’t make me look like I’m fifteen seconds away from a fucking breakdown.” She spoke aloud to herself, a bad habit she’d fallen into. Better than going batshit insane, at least. She peeled her nightwear off, her breasts falling free before she hastily dove into the shower and changed into fresh underwear once done.
She yanked a deep red Militech suit from the rack the closest thing to armor she owned and struggled into it one limb at a time. Her jacket wouldn’t close right. Her sleeves were off by half a centimeter. It didn’t matter. She ran her fingers through her hair, flicking on the micro-heaters built into her collar to give the illusion of a fresh press. Her cat-eye optics scanned her appearance again.
EXTERNAL READ: PROFESSIONALLY ACCEPTABLE INTERNAL STATE: STRESSED. HEART RATE: 127 BPM
“No shit.”
She pushed her lip ring back in, grabbed her heels with one hand, briefcase with the other, and sprinted barefoot down the hall toward the door. The moment it hissed open, she jammed her feet into her shoes mid-run before wincing and settling for a speedwalk. Fuck heels.
Just as the penthouse door sealed shut behind her, her phone buzzed in her jacket pocket.
INCOMING CALL: VICTOR MALEN
Oh god. No. Not now. She answered anyway, breathless. “Victor—” she began, before her bosses personal assistant cut her off with his infuriatingly calm, certainly condescending demeanour. “Good morning, Ms. Carradine. Just confirming you’re en route?” She hurried down the halls, making her way to the elevator just in time. “Yes. Yes. I had an incident. My neural alarm bugged. I’m in the elevator now. I’ll be there on time.” Victor let out a ‘hm’ that made her want to throttle him before she spoke again. “He’s already in his office.”
A pause followed. ”You performances have been spotty lately, Ms Carradine. You’re not nearly getting as much done as you used too. That’s not like you.” He mused. “I’m aware.” She tried to sound firm, not like her stomach was folding in on itself. It won’t happen again. This is a blip.”
“He asked if you were ‘still aligned.’ His words.” Rhea’s heart skipped a beat. She knew the corporate world to be savage. But it was getting all too real for her, and she was fighting to stay safe in it. “Tell him I’ll prove it before the next phase. Be there soon.”
“You have fifteen minutes.” The call ended. Her ears burned. Her hands felt cold and wet even though she wasn’t sweating. Still aligned? Is that a threat? A test? A warning? A simple fucking question?
The elevator doors opened onto the garage and she hauled it across polished black concrete toward her car. The moment she slid inside, the dashboard flared to life with a quiet hum. The Ai inside booting up with a hum. “Morning, Rhea. Context states you’re late for work. Destination: Militech HQ, Level 90?” She buckled in. “Drive like I stole you.” She commanded. “Right away, ma’am.”
The city peeled past her like a blur of light and smog. Outside, Night City was everything it always was: chaos. AVs weaved between mega-towers overhead. Pedestrians jostled through crosswalks like data streams in a broken net. Everything neon. Everything loud.
But inside the car, it was quiet, far too quiet. Just the sound of her rapid breathing, the mechanical purr of the engine, and the oppressive weight of the meeting waiting for her.
Conrad doesn’t “ask” if you’re aligned. That’s code. For evaluation. For removal. One mistake too visible, and you’re next year’s internal training case study. She still remembered hers, when they selected the few they deemed ‘ready’ to peel back the curtain. The poor bastards face still showed up in her nightmares.
She clenched the steering wheel even as the AI guided them along the unauthorized corporate priority lane. Her eyes scanned newsfeeds, facial data, back-end personnel logs. Anything to keep her mind busy. But her thoughts kept drifting.
‘What if I forgot a file? What if he thinks I’m slipping? What if he thinks I’m turning into my father near the end—erratic, paranoid, distracted…’
She caught herself. “No. You are Rhea Carradine. You were born for this. You’re fine. It’s all fucking fine.” Still, the panic in her chest wasn’t quenched.
The car pulled to a stop at the Militech Tower entrance with exactly 90 seconds to spare. She didn’t wait for the door to fully open before stepping out, heels clicking against the pristine tile of the lobby.
Security didn’t stop her. They knew her face. Or maybe they knew not to stop her when she looked like she was this close to unraveling.
She practically sprinted toward the elevator (more accurately she moved as fast and dignified as she could) and jammed her finger on the biometric pad. As the doors closed, she caught her reflection again. She looked fine, too fine for how she felt. Her eyes were still the same too. Cyberware designed to make them look feline. She was going to get them replaced when she started, but her boss had commented on them once. Called them cute. She hadn’t dared change them since.
The elevator dinged at Level 90 as she stepped out. The corridor was quiet. Too quiet. That hush reserved for high-clearance meetings and conversations that ended careers. Rhea walked toward his office doors, every step heavier than the last.
As she reached for the handle, she inhaled through her nose, straightened her jacket, and swallowed down the voice screaming ‘you’re late, you’re slipping, you’re replaceable.’ Then she opened the door and stepped into the room like nothing was wrong.

Howdy all! Little miss hyperfixation is back and today she’s all over cyberpunk! I adore the game and the world it’s set in, so I’d love to explore it with my girl Rhea! She’s a Corpo gal riddled with far too much stress than she can handle, and issues out the wazoo. Perfect!
But what kinda fun does Rhea get into? Perhaps having to do ‘whatever it takes’ to keep her position, even if that means dropping to her knees for a superior? Maybe she takes a wrong turn one night and ends up in a part of night city she would never step foot in. Perhaps she gets rescued by a knight in chromed-up armour, who sweeps her off her feet and right into bed. The possibilities are endless and I’d love to explore them!
Kinks, limits and the like will be discussed when we get to chatting, which reminds me! Feel free to open up with any ideas or suggestions you may have! Be it for the scene, your character or anything! Mutual interest and enjoyment is something I adore when writing with people, so please show me you’re equally as down to nerd out as I am xD.
That’s about all from me, I can’t wait to talk to y’all soon enough! Wishing you all the best!
