Bpd friendships

Anybody else here totally against having friends that also have bpd and are either unmedicated or not in therapy.

It always ends in a massive shithole - at least for me - I’ve had ppl leave me for their bed partner after years of strong friendship or just being mad for speaking my mind bout fp - like I get it - I have the same disorder and I get the reason behind why you do what you do but ffs come on.

I also get that the bond we have with each other makes it seem like we understand each other perfectly and it’s so much better than being friends with ppl who aren’t neurodivergent or have a personality disorder bc it’s rare to find a good connection or even feel some kind of connection but I’ve had the WORST experiences with bpd only friendships.
