is AECO 300 with Laurence Kranich doable?

I am a transfer student enrolled in the business economics program. I've seen a lot of bad reviews about Laurence Kranich, is his class doable, can I obtain an A or B in his class If I work extremely hard. He's coteaching with Baris Yoruk.
