Warp users: is it typical for your phone to cycle between 5G & LTE on repeat over a drive?

First time on the Verizon network here and I noticed on a 5 mile drive between two towers the symbol would cycle between 5G and LTE at least 10 times over a 8 minute drive. It was honestly comical how frequently it changed. Coming from AT&T maybe I just didn’t notice but felt strange.

Odd behavior that I’m guessing is just the pass between two towers, is this common?
