Any good bbq or food places downtown? Also need activity recommendations.

Staying for 3 days w/ my mom and brother, we're staying downtown. I need activity suggestions, we already planning to go up the arch and go to the city museum. Besides that we don't know what else to do. We also need some good food spots, specifically looking for bbq. If anybody has good recommendations, I would really appreciate it.
