Bose QC SC noise canceling mics are cutting out

Hi all! I bought a pair of a Bose QuiteComforts SC Noise cancelling headphones and for the first week people could hear me well on the mics, like during Teams calls or phone calls. But lately people are complaining the mic is cutting out or I sound really distant. Anyone know what’s going on? I haven’t tinkered with the Bose app or any settings.

Thinking about returning them and getting a new pair to see if that solves it.
