Recommendations for a specific type of VN

Okay this sounds a bit too specific maybe but I fell in love with Echo and it’s more desert like homey feel, I wanted to see if

1. There were VN’s with similar coming home after a long time feeling, the only other game I’ve seen that has something similar is Night in the woods

2. A roadtrip, I know this one sounds completely out of nowhere but I’ve always been a sucker for road trip adventures and the beginning of Echo gave me similar vibes, friends going out, having fun and enjoying life together you know? Any recommendations are appreciated, thanks
