Sukuna didn't hold back his stats

When gojo was talking about sukuna not giving it his all he was talking about Trueform and fuga

Sukuna was scared of unlimited void, It was the main reason that he brought out mahoraga in the first phase of the fight, I don't think sukuna would hold his stats back if he was scared of UV and he knows how dangerous it is

Not using domain amplification doesn't count as holding back, Sukuna genuinely thought that mahoraga was the best way to deal with UV

Sukuna wanted to adapt to infinity but the way he would have gone about it is to strip UV first and once gojo's cornered he would start adapting to infinity even if gojo died mahoraga can still continue adapting so no sukuna trying to get an infinity adaptation didn't hender him

Choosing the wrong strategy doesn't mean you were holding back

Sukuna couldn't use fuga

He shrunk down his range to break gojo's domain if he tried to expand its range it wouldn't work as the heat doesn't enter the barrier even if it does gojo can easily stop him as he has to charge it up and he would need to turn off amplification for that

If you think sukuna held back his stats there's no logical justification for it

Do you really think sukuna let himself get hit with UV or manhandled in the second phase of the fight

Gojo knows about trueform as he taunts sukuna about using megumi's face and they have angel to tell them about reincarnation

So the only logical conclusion that doesn't make sukuna seem like an idiot is that gojo was talking about trueform
