Got New Imaging! Incidental findings on CTA...
Still waiting for the DICOM but got the report. These were incidental findings, had vertigo and neck pain and they were focused mostly on ischemic infarctions in my brain. This was on the CTA:
REPORT
There are degenerative changes of the cervical spine including joint space narrowing, moderate spurring and vacuum phenomenon at the atlantodental joint, facet hypertrophy in the cervical spine which is most severe on the left at the C3-4 level, uncovertebral osteophytes most prominent at C6-7 and mild reversal of the normal cervical lordosis with apex at C6.
So, has anyone seen vacuum phenomenon at the atlantodental joint on their reports? What is that?
I think my vertigo was from my neck, not brain. I am trying to get more imaging scheduled, focused on CCI because I think my ligaments are loose due to my spine degenerating. Just a theory.
Thanks for your input.
