People say don't focus on getting a partner, but where else are you going to get that kind of genuine love and sex?

Yes, I know I'm not "owed" anything but it's a fundamental human desire. I genuinely don't understand, I'm a young guy who is obviously in need of that type of connection and people say vague stuff like "it'll happen to you" or "don't worry about it" and it frustrates me because I am finding out how I constantly need it in my life lol.
