Car workshop

Hello community. Me and my friends have decided to make a car workshop in NYC, rather it to be in staten island or brooklyn. I need to figure out is where to look at to find a space for rent? if i need a business licence , and if i do, what procedures i have to go through? We have really good crew , they know their business. I appreciate any kind of suggestions. God bless you all! Thanks in advance.
