Fleas on cats

Hey there,

My fiancé and I found a flea on our cat today. We have never had fleas, we wanted to do flea medication from the vet when we went a few months ago, but they recommended against it because both cats are indoor cats.

Well we should have done it anyway. We found probably a dozen fleas on him through using a comb, soaked him in dawn dish soap and rinsed him (poor baby has never bathed before and was so so scared)

We then applied advecta on his neck and shoulder blades.

We deep cleaned our bedroom

We have not yet cleaned out the rest of the house other than our bedroom and bathroom.

Is it safe for us to move him to the bedroom so he doesn’t need to stay in the bathroom?

Please help us and our sweet baby :/
