Smudge Cells present, and an Abnormal read on my RBC/WBC Morphology.

I'm 35, and just did my yearly physical/labs and walked away with this information. My PCP just wants a second lab done in 2 weeks and has told me not to be concerned, but that's like telling me "don't look at bright light".

All of my other numbers were normal. I'm healthy, work out often, I have no symptoms of CLL or history of smudge cells or an abnormal RBC/WBC Morphology. The only other high number had to do with my BUN levels, but it was just by a single point, and Doc chalked it up to my high protein intake from working out often.

I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis as a teenager, and occasionally have flare ups. I either had such a flare up on Saturday, 8/2 or was dealing with a slight stomach bug. Hard to tell sometimes as my case is extremely mild and I haven't had to medicate in over a decade. Could that have influenced my tests just 5 days later? Last year I did my blood work 2 weeks after having COVID and my liver numbers were absurd, but on a retest a week later were perfectly normal.

I apologize if these are silly questions, I'm just in full-on chew my fingernails mode until I can go get a second test done in 2 weeks.

Also, my doctor is having pathology examine the second test's results. Is this right? I'd assume oncology would want to have a look but I'm not a doctor for a reason.
