Is the SB-1000 Pro right for me?

So I want to get a subwoofer for mainly movie watching and some gaming in my bedroom. I was looking at the RSL subwoofers, but my room 11x13 and I don't have too much space. The SB-1000 is smaller, so now I'm looking at that and I was wondering if it would be a good fit for a room my size since I see many people on reddit saying it's not enough for them. If not does anyone have any other suggestions for subwoofers around the same size if I don't want to spend more than $600?
