[TOMT][SONG] Old R&B song from the late 2000s / “The Way You” are??

Heard this song back in 2009 on Youtube, I think the genre might be R&B pop? It wasn't mainstream. Lyrics went something like: "see the way he hurts you...... make you insecure about your hair.... i know the pain, wanna take you away...... the way you are.”

I remember a YouTube video where the song name was called "Way you are" / "The way you are" except the band was labeled as "Unknown" at the time, I think they sounded like "Varsity fanclub" (an old R&B band back in the 2000s but I couldn't find anything about it)

I cannot find anything on Youtube, it just pops up as a bunch of random videos, does anyone know what song this is lol
