^(Getting better at the inking and gold!)

—but man… it’s still *really, really weird* how someone’s whole face can just suddenly **change** like that with just a bit of eyewear.

Like, you’re almost a totally different person like this! Much more professional-looking.

> DAGENHART: *(chuckles)* “All on purpose, sweetheart~”

It is?

> DAGENHART: “Certainly. A good pair of glasses can visually trick others into leaning on a few… *outdated* stereotypes, so to say. Humans are assumptive, social animals, after all. Great at spotting patterns where there *aren’t* any; easily judging books by covers wherever they may go so to get the jump on any nasty surprises.”

> *(adjusts glasses)* “But I quite like to “weaponize” those silly scrutinizations ***against*** such shallow people. See how *attentive* they truly are or not—*and* what conclusions they tend to draw from what they see. From my posture, my movements, my speech, or how I may dress in certain settings.”

> “And glasses belong to that, too. Chances are I may look much *older, more intelligent, or less of a threat* to others whenever I wear these.”

Ahhh. So… you’re kinda, like, a walking Rorschach Test in that sense? But for bias and reasoning?

> DAGENHART: *(folds hands, smiles) “\*M-hm.\** A little. Slightly more with the times. Goes real well with the monochrome fit, doesn’t it~?”

I guess so!

> DAGENHART: “*Plus*, it functions a bit like a ***mask*** as well. Got an annoying little barrier in the way of my eyes. Staves off all the soul-stealers just fine.”

So… then why don’t you wear them more often? You *do* still need them for medical reasons, right?

[ ;-;] Is it because I struggle to draw you like that…?

> DAGENHART: “Same as you do, sweetie~”

> “Don’t you just *hate* it when you know others are thoroughly watching you?”

… yeah, I suppose so.

“Do I Really Look *That* Evil?” (OC: Dagenhart) - well, not with THOSE snazzy glasses!
